Episode 414 "Well, you've been to enough heterosexual suicide pacts to know this is a wedding cake!" ~Brian

This was a spectacular finish to all of the drama of season four, a season that I was expecting to dislike but ended up intensely loving. It had so much going for it and very little holding it back—Brian's journey to the finish line with Michael was touching indeed and Gale Harold's acting was beyond superb. Even after two seasons, I'm still in love with the Rage storyline completely. I really hope that the movie gets successfully made because it sounds awesome! Ted and Emmett also had several more amazing (and hilarious) bonding moments, especially the scene where Emmett goes out of his way to make Ted's "birthday" just as fantastic as possible. The renaming of the Liberty House was a fitting end, as was the amazing (and much-needed) ending scene between Ben and Michael set to Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Overall another spectacular season finale, but I prefer the other ones.

This was a wonderful season finale. I loved to see the scenes from the bike ride. And also to see Brian finishing it with Michael supporting him (and being the great friend he always is) while the others were waiting at the finish line. Was great to see him arrive in the night with all the snow and the rest cheering them up! Also some wonderful scenes between Ted and Emmett. Loved to see Emmett arranging the being sober birthday for Ted in the forest.

Was also great to see the marriage celebration of Ben and Michael, with cake and everything else Brian got. And the scene when Michael asks Ben if their marriage is real, is beautiful and emotional.

All in all this episode was great because one felt so many loving connections between the characters, whether it was friendship, marriage or moving in together.

The only sad thing is to see Lindsay and Mel separating. But I have a feeling they will be together anyways.
