"How was your… piece of cake?" ~Emmett

While the season two premier doesn't touch the season one finale, I did think that it was extremely well-written and very promising. Everything feels different at first with Michael returning and Brian so carefree, but the trial of Chris and Justin's recovery make sure you don't forget about last season's explosive final episodes. The flashbacks are heartbreaking, and the fact that Justin doesn't remember the dance with Brian just makes it all the worse. I love Justin and I love Brian, and this episode introduces many hardships that they could be faced with. Very promising season premier that makes me extremely excited for what else the season has in store.

Great season start! I liked Justin's story of course. Very well done. I like the role Brian played in it, how he visited him and yet Justin never knew it. The final conversation with Justin's mother is hurtful but it promises a development in character's relationships which I am looking for.

It is sad how the court went. I also couldn't stand Debbie in it. I really am growing to hate this character. She is loud and annoying and fake. I also hated her saying that he would get a greater penalty if he bashed a dog. A low life like her often puts down the life and suffering of an animal making it insignificant. Aniaml abuse is not punished even closely the way it should be. And there is no need for trash like her to make it look otherwise.

Am also very excited about the wedding story of Lindsay and Mel. I loved Lindsay's proposal, well done. Was happy to see her to stand up for her partner and for what she believes in and who she is
