Incredible Justin/Brian scenes...
PoisonKeyblade9 December 2007
"So in other words, for Justin to live here with you, he has to deny who he is, what he thinks, and how he feels." ~Brian

This episode of Queer of Folk has it all, including more of the irresistible Brian/Justin scenes. Episode 8 has a couple of really memorable and beautiful scenes between the two of them, and the ending is great. For once, you really start to question whether or not Brian dislikes Justin as much as he tells the others. Instead of appearing as a nuisance, Justin is very sweet and loving toward Brian, trying desperately to make him some dinner and doing everything in his power to please him. Justin's father goes to even higher lengths to get Brian out of Justin's life, but ends up messing things up altogether. Michael also tries desperately to get a promotion at work to pay for his mother's new financial problems while at the same time trying to decide whether or not to tell his coworkers that he's gay. Overall a superb episode with plenty of memorable scenes and the introduction of a few new themes and ideas.

Another great episode. I really liked Michael's story. Was very well done with him having such a personal dilemma where he needs this promotion to help his mother and at the same time gets it by lying about his sexuality. I liked seeing him struggling in this episode and I am also looking forward to see what happens with him and Tracy.

The story of Brian and Justin is going pretty well too. I loved when Justin's mom showed up at Brian's office with Justin't things telling Brian that he should make sure Justin does his homework and isn't late for school. It made me laugh so much, since it felt like Brian got a child.

Of course the ending was awesome. I liked what Brian said to Justin's father. And him smiling when looking at Justin at the dinner table was very sweet.

And I definitely loved him driving with the Jeep into the store. The look on Lindsay's face was great!
