Jimmy has a gambling problem. He is in debt to his bookie for 27,000 dollars. He agrees to take a settlement case for dispersal of lottery winnings. The main case is a young guy accused of shooting a store clerk and running away. The case rests on an eye witness, an older woman. The prosecution ends up in an unexpected positive position but doesn't play fair, though it is done legally.
