Strong episode with more great performances and humour
Fire safety inspector Keith Lard causes problems for Brian as the Phoenix prepares to host an evening with a "pyskick".
For my personal taste the humour is consistently good, but not quite as funny as the previous two episodes. However, I appreciate comedy is in the eye of the beholder and others may find it equally as or even more funny.
My favourite moments include most scenes that involve either Lard, Den Perry, and especially Clinton Baptiste played by Chris Lowe. The material is not exactly in the best of tastes at times (bestiality, child-abuse, terminal illness and infertility are all subjects used as punchlines), but when you give it to these ridiculous characters and have others give an over-the-top, outraged reactions it works very well.
Peter Kay is on top for as ever in three roles and is supported well by Lowe and Ted Robbins in particular.
