Early on, Perry and Judge Redmond discuss why the judge decided against Perry's client in a case. The judge suggests that Perry appeal the decision and Perry says it would be no use because the judge hasn't had a decision overturned in 20 years. But an experienced attorney such as Perry would decide whether to recommend that the client appeal a decision based on the reasoning of the decision, not on the judge's record on appeal.
When Quinn Torrey enters Judge Redmond's office with a newspaper, the headline is different from the one shown in the close-up where he x's out one of the faces on the cover. The title on the paper that is brought into the office has a single-line headline that goes across the page that reads, "Who Is Trudy's Father?" with two large photos underneath. The newspaper in the close-up has a two-line headline saying "Redmond and Kendall Nominees for Lieutenant Governor"
As mentioned above, Quinn Torrey brings into Judge Redmond's office the "wrong" newspaper. Its headline reads "Who Is Trudy's Father?"
The newspaper first appeared three years earlier in Season Three's finale... "Flighty Father" (11 Jun 60) (S3/E26). The "Trudy" in the headline refers to "Trudy Holbrook," played by Anne Benton. There is also a photo of Paul Drake holding this newspaper in the earlier episode's photo gallery (photo #2 of 4).
