Good nostalgia episode.

Decent mystery and plot. Seen as a rerun so many years later it's fun to watch Mayor Stoner and Courtney from the original Heat of The Night movie and a couple of others who seemed to be in every TV show ever made but nobody can remember their names.

Not the best plot ever since not knowing whose kid is who has been overdone but still worth watching.

Trivia
Helen Gregory refers to her father John as "hunyak." The term is spelled in a variety of ways and translated differently depending on the language of origin. The most common understanding is a "big lug" or unsophisticated immigrant.

Goofs
Halfway through the show, whatever the stock photo may be, it does look like Boston, Massachusetts, with the Massachusetts State House north of Boston Common, and the building for the Suffolk County Superior Court. Boston has had a Parker House since 1855.
