When the killer is shot at the end, he has no bullet holes in his shirt, and no blood is visible as he slides to the floor. After a cut away to Lt. Drumm, the following shot shows blood and bullet holes in the dead man's shirt.

The "bad guys'" car, prior to going over the cliff, has no front-end damage to it. Yet, when it does indeed go over the cliff, it already has a good amount of front-end damage for no apparent reason.

When Paul passes the fake accident scene, the hijackers give chase. Paul looks into his side mirror to view their progress. When the camera shows the side mirror, the view of the road shows his truck is not moving, even though he's very actively driving behind the wheel.

When Paul arrives at the San Fransisco terminal, the truck has had the windshield removed.

In the San Francisco truck depot, the wall clock reads 12:28 even though the scene takes place early in the morning.

In the credits, the character is listed as Estelle Paige which is an error. In the show, she is referred to as Gaige and her name is shown printed as part of the company she is a partner of.

Olaf Deering instructs Paul Drake, driving a truck, to take the San Diego Freeway and head towards Bakersfield. The San Diego Freeway, I-405, merges with the Golden State Freeway, I-5, near San Fernando, and I-5 continues north from that point. Both freeways were in operation at the time this was filmed.

When Deering is killed, the police arrive immediately without explanation. The reporter Kannon also arrives and walks right into the crime scene and takes a picture of the corpse and asks a question of Det. Drumm before he gets told to leave.

While testifying about a murder, Bert Kannon says, "They killed him that night," meaning the dual defendants, Francis Clune and Bobbi Dane. Kannon was not a witness to the murder, so Perry Mason should have objected to Kannon's statement; his failure to do so is one of Perry's very rare tactical mistakes in the courtroom.

Elisabeth Fraser is listed in the credits as Estelle Paige. In the show, she is referred to, correctly, as Gaige which can be seen spelled on her office door, the company signage on the fence and the side of a truck.
