Plot holes
Caspar Pedley is the one who informs his sister that her husband has been killed by a woman. Later, Pedley breaks down and identifies his sister as the actual killer. Why would his sister let him in on the crime and her subsequent attempt to frame Mauvis Meade?.
When Perry goes to question Mauvis in her apartment, at one point she pulls a fresh cigarette from the box on the table; when the camera angle changes, she picks up a lighter, but the camera angle changes again and she is already holding the lit cigarette -- she had no time to light it and put the lighter down. The cigarette and ash also change lengths with different shots...
The word "Convertable" on the car's registration document should be spelled "Convertible".
When Perry has Paul come into his office and explains about his client, the Summit Inn, the cabin, and the dead body, there is no mention of where the cabin is relative to the inn. Paul is dispatched to send one of his men to the cabin without any directions as to how to find it or identify it from any other cabin.
Presumably, they are detectives and can figure out which cabin it is and where it is.

In the opening scene, it is raining really hard. When she is let into the cabin, her clothes are not very wet. They should be completely soaked.
