The car registration for Fred S. Swan lists his license plate number as NFL 252. However, a bit later in the show, his rear license plate was actually RKM 126. Fred's license number (NFL 252) is the same as four other characters in previous episodes. And his listed address is also the same as two other characters in previous episodes.
In the closeups of Enid Janes talking with Dan Southern, the tracks behind her are empty. Yet in the final long shot, a train car suddenly appears where none was visible before.
When Enid Janes arrives in town, it is by way of a passenger train pulled by a diesel locomotive. Yet in the ensuing conversation, all the background sound is of a steam locomotive. Despite the sound of a train being very close, viewers see neither the original diesel train leave the station nor a steam locomotive passing by.
In his first scene, Adam West has long sideburns. But when he appears in court and thereafter, the sideburns are gone, although this would be some time later. It appears that facial hair of any kind qualifies for the Piñon City Founders' beard requirement, including long sideburns and just mustaches.
Although the Founders Week celebration appears to be over at the time of the hearing (none of the witnesses have the facial hair they were sporting earlier), when Paul goes into the restaurant after the first day of the hearing, there is still a poster for the celebration next to the restaurant's entrance.
Fred Swan's pickup is parked on the street. Adam West goes to the truck and looks at the registration, which lists the truck make as a Ford. However, the truck is actually a GMC 1/2 ton. In addition, the license number shown is NFL252, whereas the actual license number is RKM126 (as is clearly shown in the scene with Swan and Marta Wiltern in the barn).
Quite a few of the male extras peopling the streets of Pinon City do not have beards; it's a little hard to believe that so many Pinon City residents are indifferent to the prospect of being fined and having mugshots taken.
The sideburns Adam West are sporting don't come close to his natural hair color. They are obviously "glue-ons". Note that many men, including the police at the train station, are sporting obvious glue-on sideburns and mustaches.
