I Do (#3.11)
ComedyFan201015 March 2018
Warning: Spoilers
It is a year since Charlie almost got married and Joe comes to town for his own wedding. Julia is all crazy after Sam. . Sarah starts getting jealous of Bailey and Callie.

I wonder what it will be like in the case of Sarah and Bailey. I like her so much more than Callie. I usually like Callie's personality types, but I can't stand her. Must be because of the actress. She is fake and annoying.

The whole wedding was also a good story with many nice moments. I am now looking forward to the next episode since Charlie is going to Chicago.

I am not so much into Julia's story. I don't think Sam would have fallen for her pathetic rant. There is nothing beautiful or romantic about it.

What Shouldn't Have Happened

Warning: Spoilers
This episode leaves strange sensations. It has great parts and others really bad. For the good part, it's been a year since canceled wedding and Charlie is suffering. Julia remembers, tries to comfort him offering to see a movie and also reminds Claudia who forgot it (I think Claudia tried to forget such a horrible date). Owen is present and Charlie can't even be nice to him. Claudia realizes that this would be their first anniversary and they would be planning a very happy moment to celebrate, so she says kindly to Charlie to have a good day at work. To add more pain to him, Joe (who is 50) returns with a 30-year old woman, Franny, he met a month ago and says they're getting married right now (Joe is a stupid, he couldn't choose a worst date to get married, I think he doesn't give a dam about Charlie's suffering). Also, Claudia hugs and tells Joe that this is the best thing that happened in a very long time, while a stunned Charlie watches this. He is obviously saddened, depressed and although Joe tries to talk to him about what happened with Kirsten, he doesn't (because he suffers deep inside), so Joe still asks him to be his first man. Charlie says that he isn't sure of this, considering the short time together and the age difference, but Joe wants to get married with Franny because he has no much time left, so he accepts. Then, minute 24-25, happens the best scene of the episode, and the best since Going Home: Charlie is sitting in his bedroom writing the toast and Franny enters with the wedding dress on. He remembers Kirsten (the wedding dress is similar), so then he tries to call to send her flowers in Chicago. He mentions some things to put in a letter, like "Dear Kirsten, it's been a year..." or "I don't know what to say or whether to say anything but just how much I always...", but broken in sadness, he can't finish it. This scene was really tearful, especially remembering the tragic episode 2x09, all the things he did for her in seasons 1-2 and in the first 6 episodes of this season. Later, Joe's wedding happens and he makes the toast, saying that Joe was smart enough to not let Franny go and again he breaks during his speech, saddened and in tears.

For the other part, following last episode where Callie got closer to Bailey and Sarah noticed this, now Sarah tries to fix her up with Paul, Sarah's cousin. But all turns out bad, Callie is already in love with Bailey and Sarah is even more suspicious. To cause her more suffering, Bailey can't have sex with Sarah and then the jerk goes back to the dorm and sleeps with Callie again. This story was interesting but also annoying. And Julia refused to help Sarah. All this shouldn't have happened.

On the bad part, Julia chases Sam like a teenager and although he rejects her because he's 7 years older and she's minor, she can't stop and gives him some speech after Joe's wedding. So finally, he accepts dating her. Also, Charlie acts like a stupid asking Grace to be in the wedding and she doesn't want to go but he insists. This is unbelievable, i mean, he can't be doing this a year after... and a month after Gene and Ellie took her daughter away. Kirsten should have been in Joe's wedding, not Grace, and Charlie shouldn't put Grace in that situation (i don't understand why Grace was in this episode, it's like she already asked why the writers put her in this episode?). And to make things worse, Grace asks Charlie to do something so he buys a ticket to Chicago. That's awful. I mean, he travels because he's pushed by Grace?? Totally annoying. He should travel because he wants to see his "wife" not because someone else wants to be with him.
