I want all the same things you want, I do, and I want them with you

I get the feeling that we are just moving through all the stereotypical teenage topics: lying, sex, drinking, drugs, cheat, virginity, etc. It's great to touch on these topics, but they just seem to spring up out of the blue. LIke the writers thought, OK todays topic is going to be performance drugs, quick make up 2-3 lines to justify Nathan going this way. It'd be more believable if the topics were introduced gradually over a few episodes.

I don't like how Lucas just moved on from Peyton so fast. I get the feeling that he's liked her for a while, and a little resistance, and he just moves onto the next available in the queue. Makes him seem like a shallow boy following his hormones rather than the sensitive man I thought he was. It's great that Peyton finally got over her emotional road block and told him the truth. That was a great speech. I don't understand how these girls were OK with both liking the same guy in the first place and are somewhat OK with swapping him around like a favourite sweater. When Lucas and Brooke kiss, I have no emotion. I'm not rooting for that relationship. They are just not meant to be together. Peyton is better! Brooke has to get guys drunk for them to like her. It's just all wrong.

I like the cliffhanger at the end, what did Lucas and Hayley do? They both had big decision to make, adult decisions regarding sex. Not an easy minefield to navigate.

Overall a good episode, but I"m marking down heavily because I love Lucas, but not Brooke and Lucas.
