I Really Enjoyed It

Having just returned to watching these shows after Robb Morrow left, I was ready for mediocrity. I also tire of Chris. But this was a fun episode. First of all, we have the dissertation. It shows how academia can grind the most obvious into the ground, leaving a work so disassembled it's like the Wonderful One Hoss Shay. Just fragments. Chris is the better man than those people who are there to judge him. Secondly, we have Holling, who has been sending money to a woman and her son for many years. The kid is convinced that Holling is his father but circumstances are revealed that are so painful. I really like how they wrapped this up. Finally, Maggie buys a dilapidated movie theatre and hires Ed and Heather to run it. Don't have friends work for you is a major theme here. Everyone has learning experiences and they are very satisfying.
