First of all, we have one of those plots where a person is going to be visited and has been lying about their status. Maggie has told her father that she has been seeing doctor named Joel, assuming he will never show up. Well guess what? Joel takes serious advantage of this and it is a bit hard to watch. In a second, much more bizarre effort, Shelley has looked at Holling's private equipment and wants to know why he was never circumcised. Holling, always afraid of upsetting Kelly, decides to get the operation at 62. Joel does everything he can to dissuade him, important health reasons. Not to mention stitches and pain. What eventually happens is pretty good.
