It's painfully funny.

Mr Bean gets into yet more mischief, he splashes the cash at Alders (I really do miss Alders stores,) celebrates his birthday, and greets the Queen of England.

Painfully funny to watch as with the previous episode, do you like me feel sorry for poor Bean as you watch him, having his Birthday lunch alone, with his self written card.

It's funny throughout, but the standout scenes for me, firstly the one where he follows the shopper into the toilet, and secondly the famous bead butting scene, does it get any more gloriously surreal than that, painfully funny.

I've not seen these for many years, but they are so good, that I'm remembering them as they happen, and can still laugh out loud.

Excellent, 9/10.

Better than the first episode!

This is a classic episode that makes Mr Bean as funny as hell starting with a little dancing, a shopping spree, toilet accident, restaurant melodrama and a little bow down to the queen of England. The best bits were when he had to eat some raw steak in the restaurant and tries to do his best to hide in very odd places especially down a violinist's pance! 4/4 GAGGLE! And when he did the shopping spree and accidentally got man's card by mistake and is hauled all the way to the toilet room and is the toilet paper dude! I hate to say the rude bit with greeting the queen and his finger got stuck down his pance known to most people a penas! YUCK! Mr bean give me a hug!

All hail Mr. Bean and the Queen

Warning: Spoilers
I like this episode of Mr. Bean yet not sure where to place it - even though the next episode Curse of Mr. Bean (with swimming pool and cinema scenes).

The first segment of Mr. Bean managed to get change for a busker before going to the department store.

I don't see why Mr. Bean didn't just ask the man about the accidental mix-up with credit cards. Then the moment Mr. Bean caught in toilet cubicle - what embarrassment. And some can't forget scene of Mr. Bean on the escalator.

The second segment he celebrates his birthday. I don't find it funny he writes birthday card to himself and pretends to be surprised when he finds and reads it.

The third scene in which he's act some royal premiere in a cinema attended by royal family including the Queen Elizabeth of England. Way he gets excited in meeting the royal somewhat funny making a swift bow, he stands between the manager by Robin Driscoll (writer of Mr. Bean episodes) and the usherette by Matilda (one who plays Bean's girlfriend Irma). All the while, he's not properly prepared including flossing his teeth, freshening his breath and clean his fingernails. Then (luckily got finger out from his trousers zipper) when he finally greets the Queen with a swift bow, he accidentally headbutts her to the floor and make a run for it which was highlight moment.
