  Margaret Stoneham : [a bit irritated]  Mr. Anthony, a client's relationship with his attorney should be open and above board. Now if you will please come to the point?

  Michael Anthony : [Opens his briefcase and takes out a check]  I have a gift for you. It's a cashier's check.

  Margaret Stoneham : Now just a minute, Mr. Anthony. I don't like getting involved in anything until I know all the facts.

  Michael Anthony : The facts are, Miss Stoneham, this is a gift from an anonymous donor.

  Margaret Stoneham : I'm a reputable attorney. I don't sell my services to an unknown client under circumstances that are, at the least, somewhat doubtful.

  Michael Anthony : Just a minute, please. This is not a legal matter. This is simply an outright gift.

  [Displays check] 

  Michael Anthony : Please look at it.

  Margaret Stoneham : [Examines check]  This is a cashier's check for a million dollars and it's made out to me.

  Michael Anthony : [Nods and removes document from briefcase]  And all that is required of you is that you sign this agreement pledging yourself never to reveal the source or the amount of this gift, except your husband, of course, if you should marry.

  Margaret Stoneham : That's all?

  Michael Anthony : If you should violate this agreement, you will forfeit whatever is left of the money.

  Margaret Stoneham : You mean, if I sign this, I get a million dollars?

  Michael Anthony : That's right.
