Part 1 was a lot better.

Warning: Spoilers
Amanda having a panic attack, is one of my favorite Melrose Place moments. And this second part of season finale, was a promise for something groundbreaking. Only the show got so corny lately, even the big scenes look tame compared to Alison reminiscing past traumas. Or Kimberly triggering the bombs. Taylor's fantasy relationship with Peter, turned into a living nightmare. Is one of my favorite 5B storylines. And seeing him learn about her and Michael's deception, is always something I look forward to. This fifth season finale, could've been huge. But it's as if writers kind of lost their touch. Alison's departure, is bittersweet and weird. And I can't help but think of Courtney Thorne-Smith's new journey towards Ally McBeal, every time she's last seen at the airport. True she got to say goodbye to Billy, but she really did Jake dirty this time. Matt getting last minute custody of Chelsea, was clearly planned all along. Only writers tried to milk the suspense, until the very last second. And Craig and Sidney's wedding feel anything but genuine. The part where she goes flying over Sam's windshield, is so ridiculous it's funny. Kyle's last second love declaration to Amanda, was another way to ruin her big day. This just it, Sidney will never win. Peter seeking revenge on Michael, then Taylor, was a really satisfying part. First, when it destroyed Michael's marriage with Megan, and career as a surgeon. And had Taylor drop a bombshell that'll make us excited for next season. Right before the chaotic last seconds of episode, closed an important chapter for the show.
