    Bud gets a makeover.

As part of her fashion course, Kelly has to give someone a makeover; she chooses Bud, dressing him in foppish Elizabethan garb (ruff, tights, feathered cap) which has hot women all over him (he's the Harry Styles of the early '90s).

Meanwhile, Al is offered $10K for the use of Buck as a stud; the problem is that Buck isn't interested in the champion female dog (because he's out humping everything else). After denying Buck sex, the randy Bundy hound shags the pedigree pooch to death which results in a $100K lawsuit.

When Bud's floozies realise that the Bundys won't be getting ten grand, they drop him a hot potato.

This episode is a winner thanks to the Bundy 'kids': Kelly looks amazing in a tight blue vest and black leggings, while Bud is hilarious in his very silly outfits and gets the best line -- "I'm floating on an ocean of babes and I needs these fishnets."

The End Of A Great Season

Another great episode of "Married With Children" to finish off season five.

Plot In A Paragraph: A man offers the Bundy's $10,000 if Buck will breed with his champion dog, Lady Bird. So, Al has to coach Buck. Meanwhile, Kelly becomes Bud's fashion counsellor as part of a course.

Ed O'Neil is hitting all the right notes as Al Bundy (The Emmys owe that man one huge apology) Katey Sagal's Peggy sometimes gets annoyingly selfish, but is still a lot of fun, The gorgeous Christina Applegate continues to prove she can do more than just look good in Kelly's short skirts and tight tops, David Faustino's Bud gets funnier the minute he starts to hit on girls. Amanda Bearse's Marcy was a bit underused, she started the season just appearing in one scene, usually with a different man, until the introduction of Ted McGinley as Jefferson. I said after the last episode I liked him. And hope he is given more to do (Like in Part 2 of both "You Better Shop Around and "Route 666") than just pop up in the odd scene here and the with Marcy.

Season 6 has a lot to live up to if it is to beat this fantastic season.

Season 5 of Married With Children is the show at the height of it's greatness. Only 2 episodes out of 25 were rated below 7/10 22 episodes were voted 8 and above whilst 11 were rated 10/10. The first 13 episodes were TV at it's finest.

Peggy Bundy: Al, this isn't a check for $10,000. This is a bill for $10,000.

Al Bundy: If you look a little closer, you'll see it's a bill for $100,000. You see, Buck was ready all right. A little bit more ready than our Lady of Astoria. Or should I say, the late Lady of Astoria.

      Peggy Bundy: To death, Al?

Al Bundy: And beyond, Peg. But don't worry, the hundred-thou is payable over a three day period. So, I figure a couple of busy days at the shoe store, maybe a lemonade stand manned by my two daughters here, we'll be able to save up enough money to buy a chocolate bar and maybe some nylons for my new cellmate Bruno.

Kelly Bundy: Daddy, if it'll help any, you can have my share of the $10,000.

Al Bundy: I'll miss you most of all, scarecrow.
