Who knew that TC was a balletomane?
DVD_Connoisseur2 November 2018
An enjoyable, if somewhat anticlimactic episode, "The Sixth Position" has a handful of memorable moments.

We discover that TC is a fan of ballet and, in particular, the beautiful and spunky ballerina Kendall Chase (played by Andrea Marcovicci).

There's some blossoming romance in between Magnum trying to juggle two cases, a sprinking of international intrigue and a frustrated Higgins who desperately wants Robin Masters' camera back.

8 out of 10. A rather dull coda but a fun show nonetheless.

"Sequel" to From Moscow to Maui

Warning: Spoilers
For younger viewers of the current Netflix generation, you may have been exposed to the cold war through the Netflix series Chernobyl, but here this 1981 episode of Magnum, P. I. gets a head start for sure with cold war and all, and ballet. In fact, we learn that T. C. loves ballet, which kind of breaks down the racial stereotypes if you know what i mean.

The current leader of the former U. S. S. R was in his late 20s when this episode debuted, so he would have a chuckle at the plotline set in Hawaii.

Anyway, the ballet politics and all were quite interesting, with this episode being like a sequel to From Moscow to Maui.
