The Admiral and staff get out of the helicopters wearing their covers. This would never happen. They would be wearing helmets or headsets as it is required by NATOPS (regulations). Just a short flight in a military helicopter without hearing protection can case temporary hearing loss.
Colonel Ki and General Hue are both suppose to be Vietnamese military officers. But during the flag raising ceremony at the beginning of the episode, and later when in General Hue's office, the flag used is that of the Viet Cong (the Communist guerrillas in South Vietnam during the Vietnam War) and not of post-war Vietnam.
Magnum is too far away to get a full-frame upper body shot of the woman with a mere 200mm lens and the blown-up print he makes is way too sharp and not grainy enough for an enlarged partial section of a hand-held shot at dusk from that distance with that lens.
At the end, there is a television report of an aircraft repatriating human remains to Hickman AFB. The aircraft shown is a USAF C-141A Starlifter. The voiceover states that the aircraft is a C-133.
After Higgins makes a blow up of the photo and Magnum sees the French cross around Michelle's neck, he leaves the dark room without opening the door (there is no sound of the door opening and no light enters).
The morning after the fight in Little Saigon when Magnum is leaving the guest house and is confronted by the dogs at the bottom of the stairs, first a shadow and then a hand is visible on the balcony. The hand starts clapping against the balcony to summon the dogs up the stairs.
When the camera pedestals up onto the face of the villain in the alleyway, the camera's shadow can also be seen moving on the wall.
The morning after the fight in Little Saigon, when Magnum wakes up and is going down the steps of the guest house, a boom mic is visible in the upper left corner amongst the trees and almost drops into the upper half of the shot.
