Anecdotes
The ship Royal Viking Sky was sold from 1991 onwards to several different cruise operators who gave it their own name. In 2021 the ship (now called MV Boudicca) was scrapped in Turkey.

Gaffes
When Gopher welcomes the passengers to Amsterdam over the PA system while the ship sails into port, he says that, "Two-thirds of Holland has been reclaimed by the sea, thanks to a great system of dikes that hold back the water and canals that drain it, giving us three times as much of this charming land to enjoy."

What he should have said is that two-thirds of Holland has been reclaimed *from* the sea, not by it.

And the name of the country is Netherlands, not Holland.
