- Barney Mason (Robert Reed) and his ex-wife Terry Larsen (Loretta Swit) meet on the cruise with their new spouses (Pamela Bellwood and Richard Mulligan); Julie's (Lauren Tewes) love interest Jim Wright's (Charles Frank) chaperoning of senior citizens leaves little time for them to be together; teenagers Graham (Scott Baio) and Kelly (Kristy McNichol) find puppy love, together.—Maisie Fleckum
- In EX PLUS Y, insurance salesman Barney Mason and his ex-wife Terry both come onboard with their current partners. Even though each has moved on, the broken couple is unnerved with the presence of the other on board. Terry's husband is the couple's former marriage counselor and Barney's girlfriend is a younger woman, making the broken couple see more red. Yet deep down, the couple are still a part of one another. THE GOLDEN-AGERS are senior citizens being chaperoned by handsome Jim Wright, who shares an instant attraction to Julie McCoy. Their jobs keep preventing them from having time together. Every time Jim gets a moment alone, the Seniors seem to crash his party. And in GRAHAM AND KELLY, senior citizen Kitty Pickerel boards the ship with her grandson Graham, who meets a confident interesting teen, leaving him tongue tied and flustered. Will Dr. Bricker's advice to him melt the ice or place him on the rocks?
