To be honest, "Illusions of Grandeur" was the least enjoyable episode of the season thus far.
It COULD have been good, with Lois and Clark investigating the spate of child abductions, but it fell in a heap when the bad guys were proven to be magicians. Everyone - Perry, Lois and even Superman - found themselves hypnotised, to varying degrees, which obviously complicated things, and was a little amusing...but that wore off quickly. There were some ancillary events mentioned that happened off-screen that were too silly. You'll see what I mean.
First time I've wanted a Lois & Clark episode to end. I like the light tone of the show, but this was taking it too far. Onto the next one.
