    From jackpot to jackpot

This Laramie episode has Robert Fuller helping out Don Durant out of a nice jackpot with some Shoshone Indians. Durant in turn helps Fuller with an injured leg. Both Fuller and John Smith decide they could use him for some unfinished work at Sherman station.

But Durant who was a safe cracker by trade is needed for a job by Arch Johnson and his gang. In helping Durant, Fuller gets into his own jackpot. Johnson and the gang have a most unusual method of bank robbery planned and saloon girl Ellen Burstyn is part of it. Some lucky breaks pull all the good people out of the law and harm's way.

Nice guest star turn by TV's former Johnny Ringo as the safecracker trying to go straight.

    just a terrible episode

The fight between fuller and johnson was really badly done ... fuller and smith complain more than they work ... byington gets the best of the boys from laramie ... she's way too smart for their pea brains ... this show was big on guests and low on values ... some lawmen aren't fit to wear the badge

    What a treat!

Nearly all these episodes are good, reflecting good social values. Of course there's always too much killing, but setting that aside, it's a show of right and wrong. The best part?? Seeing great actors making early appearances. Like this episode featuring on of our greatest actors...Ellen Burstyn!! What a treat!!
