  Hro Talak : The greatest evil in the universe. Our mortal enemies, the Gordanians. For generations, we on Thanagar have been locked in a bloody war with these monsters.   Lt. Kragger : Commander Talak.

  Lt. Kragger : I'm sorry, sir, but we're receiving a transmission from the humans.

• The Flash : I don't get what you see in that guy. I mean, sure he's big and strong and ridiculously good-looking, but so what? It doesn't make him some kind of hero.

  Hro Talak : [saving a baby goat from being bulldozed]  Here. Look after this little one.

  The Flash : [Talak and Hawkgirl fly away]  Fine. But I still don't like him.

• High Council Thanagarian : Commander Talak, what progress can you report?

  Hro Talak : We are on schedule, my lord. With the help of the humans, we should be operational within days.

  High Council Thanagarian : Not a moment too soon. As you see, the Gordanians have launched a new counter-offensive. They have sealed off our expeditionary forces, and their entire fleet is pressing toward Thanagar.

  Thanagarian Soldier : You there! How did you get in here?

  Batman : [in disguise]  I'm sorry. I seem to have gotten separated from my group.

  Thanagarian Soldier : Don't move!

  [taking out a communicator] 

  Thanagarian Soldier : Lieutenant, I found one of your visitors in the comm center.

  Lt. Kragger : Did he see anything?

  Thanagarian Soldier : I'm not sure.

  Lt. Kragger : Then don't take any chances. Lock him up.

  Thanagarian Soldier : Come with me.

  Batman : [knocking him backward]  No, thanks.

• Batman : Diana, I was right. The Gordanians are nowhere near Earth. The Thanagarians are... ahhhh!

  Wonder Woman : Batman, come in! Can you hear me?

  Lt. Kragger : [having knocked Batman out]  Keep an eye on this one. Commander, our security has been breached.

  Hro Talak : I was hoping to avoid this. Deploy our contingency forces now.

  Hawkgirl : Hro and I are promised to each other. It's like being engaged.

  Green Lantern : Congratulations. I'm sure you two must have a lot of catching up to do.

  Hro Talak : [watching him leave]  I thought he'd be taller.

• Hawkgirl : Welcome to Earth, Commander.

  Hro Talak : Thank you, Lieutenant.

  Hawkgirl : This is Commander Hro Talak of Thanagar.
