    Who wrote this tripe?

Not even half way through, and I just can't take all the shouting and preaching anymore. Please, for the sake of sanity, don't let me hear the neighborhood watch guy shout one more time about how they're gonna take control of their neighborhood because the cops won't do nothing. And I'm starting to see why the lady-partner replacement didn't make it all the way through the season. She's... acting.

The preaching and shouting speeches are very standard issue. I would have preferred building tension through suspense, rather than setting the audience's teeth on edge with a bunch of shouty goofy talk,

The show really doesn't work without Stepfanie Kramer and it really, really doesn't work with shlocky B-team writing.

    Horrible acting

This season had some of the worst acting on tv. This episode had a great guest in Mitch Pileggi. But it wasn't much of a showcase for him. I liked this series when it was on tv, at least the first few seasons. But by about season five, the acting became very heavy, with lots of yelling and exaggerated facial expressions.

This show should have wrapped when Stepfanie Kramer left. It just isn't the same without McCall!
