When Pembelton is ranting about having to work out of an old bank vault he goes to a device on the wall and pulls a handle on it down, which turns a light on and activates an electric motor. He says "of course I'm discombobulated, I'm interrogating people in a safety deposit box...*pulls handle* and what the hell is this?!?". The odd device in question is actually an emergency light & air pump, they are installed in bank vaults in case someone gets locked inside. These vaults are air tight when the main door is locked and aren't connected to the building's ventilation system, as a ventilation duct could be used to get inside the vault. On many occasions robbers have locked bank customers and employees inside vaults in order to prevent or delay them in sounding an alarm, and if there is a delay in opening the door the people in the vault can die of asphyxiation. In fact there have been several instances of people dying as a result of being either intentionally or accidentally locked in a vault. After reading about such a case in the newspaper an electrical engineer named Byron Goss invented a special electric air pump in 1930, fitted with a light, that could be installed in a vault to be used in the event of a person(s) being locked inside.

Lewis says they can tell the gun in the video is a Colt 9 mm. The gun is a 1911 style, which was originally made by Colt, but also is made by many other companies as well. By far the most common cartridge the 1911 is chambered for is .45 ACP, 1911's chambered in 9x19 mm are made, but they are less common, it is also chambered in 10 mm S&W. However there is no way to tell from that video if the gun is a 9 mm, 10 mm or .45, the video was too blurry and too dark to make out any detail of the slide where the caliber is stamped.
