Immortal Kinman is a hitman and his latest target is interrupted by Mac and Richie, who see only a masked man in that moment. Kinman was trying to kill a shop keeper, Markum. Though Mac and Richie foil the attempt on Markum, his wife ends up being killed instead. When Richie and Mac catch up to Kinman sans mask, Duncan knows him. The police show up and arrest Kinman. Duncan and Richie take off. Later the FBI and police want them as witnesses, but Mac and Richie say they weren't the two guys that chased him down. Mac wants to kill Kinman himself as he hates him. Mr. Markum implores them to identify him and testify.
The FBI agent was a piece of work, wasn't she? I mean honestly how did she expect this to end?
Loved that Richie confronted Mac about not identifying Kinman. Mac says he wants Kinman for himself. Hey Mac, you're supposed to be zen, remember? Revenge isn't part of the protocol anymore. Oh, I forgot Kinman is immortal, therefore revenge against him is ok. I guess if he were mortal it would be a no-no.
Richie: "Mac, you kill Kinman, You get satisfaction."
Richie: "Bull, Mac. You kill him, they'll never know about it! They'll spend the rest of their lives thinking he got away."
Way to go Richie!
Duncan's friend Dennis in the flashback was kind of stupid. He was baited twice. Later Mac is almost baited too. But he refrains because of his vow to Queen Anne. Thought the actress who played the Queen did a great job, by the way. Wow, Mac's chums from the tavern sure did turn on him fast, calling him a coward.
Wonder what Markum thought at the end. He probably thinks Mac is in the mob. Guessing a lot of people over the years in the series may have gotten that impression, including the police.
Kinman was kind of funny at times. Boy did he really know how to push people's buttons in the past.
I'm glad Mr. Markum had closure and that Mac got his closure as well. I gave the episode an 8/10.
