Exactly how many siblings does George Baxter have anyways?
AlsExGal20 March 2024
Mr. B's siblings are always showing up to fill a hole, and then disappear to never appear again. This week it is George's sister Diedre from Boston, who has come to town with her grown daughter - about 20 - to look for a place to live as they are relocating there due to her husband's job.

Dierdre turns out to be a terrible snob. She doesn't like Hazel's familiar ways since she thinks of Hazel as the hired help, not part of the family as the Baxters do. And then Dierdre's daughter and Hazel's nephew hit it off and go out on a date and Dierdre explodes. Dierdre fears this might led to marriage and the eventual pitter patter of little working class feet. Complications ensue.

This episode appears to have something missing, probably due to added commercials in syndication. At the end of the episode, Hazel and Dierdre are having it out as Nancy comes home from her first date. Cut to commercial, and Nancy is returning from her second date(??) and apparently Hazel and Dierdre have come to some kind of understanding, still dressed in their bedclothes. What happened?

I'd give this episode higher marks if the end didn't seem to lose continuity.
