Episode #74 is the best one yet.

I give the show a solid 8 stars so far, with some 9s and some 7s. This episode made me laugh out loud too many times to count, and the previous 73 episodes brought out a few laughs overall. I'm thankful for the great jokes for a change!

    That's some bad hat Rory...

Can these girls be more annoying? Yes they can! The way they snob marzapane, really showed how hopeless they can be. Go eat your saccharin filled Toblorone, and shut up Lorelai. I think I've reached my limit with this character. She's such an unlikeable and opinionated person. Just like I anticipated, season 4 is just as bad as I remembered. Rory's first year in Yale, is dull. Barely any of the new characters, except Jason and the new guitare guy in Lane's band, stand out. Luke's sister's not there yet, but as much as I like Kathleen Wilhoite, she seems to be playing the same character every time. And some of Stars Hollow side characters like say, Kirk? Become cartoonish and insufferable. In this episode in particular, Paris is dating an older guy. And it don't even make her more interesting. I wished the part people toured the Gilmore manor, during Friday night dinner, were funnier. Yawn...

    • Trivia
The man fixing Rory's radiator tells her that they have had presidents graduate from Yale. For the record, the two Presidents Bush and President Taft earned their undergraduate degrees at Yale. President Clinton and President Ford earned their undergraduate degrees at Georgetown and the University of Michigan, respectively, but went on to earn JD degrees from Yale Law School.
    • Goofs
When Jason visits the Dragonfly towards the end of the episode and talks to Lorelai outside, the back of his coat is variously stained and unstained.
