Much to everyone's surprise, Rory actually wants to partake in a "coming out" party where she is properly introduced into society. Emily and Richard are fighting because Richard is unhappy at work. Christopher comes back into town to present Rory at the party and while staying in Stars Hollow, him and Lorelai connect. To Lorelais dismay, she finds out that Chris is actually in a serious relationship with a woman named Sherrie. Also, apparently Neil Young looks great in a tux.
