Stan Burns and Mike Marmer contribute another winning script to the Smart cannon. This time the Chief and Max have gone to a concert to get a message from Hubert (Andre Phillippe) a top concert violinist who's also a CONTROL agent. He knows who KAOS' new Mr. Big is. But before he can relay the information, he is killed and Max must catch the murderer and reveal Mr. Bigg.
There's plenty of great bits along the way as Max breaks out the portable cone of silence (how he got it in his little Sunbeam Tiger is NOT explained), and gets some very useful secret weapons, including the very "Inspector Gadget"-like heliocoat.
John Myhers almost steals the show with his flamboyant characterization of Wolenska, the concert pianist. He takes some chances of being too hammy, but I think it works here. He's very funny. Victor French continues to define his role as Agent 44 as a guy who's getting ticked at his rotten assignments and Bert Freed is good as the suspicious concert hall owner.
Pay close attention to the man who plays the Police Lieutenant investigating the murder. He's Richard Webb who was a big star back in the 1950's playing Captain Midnight!
