    Our Past Makes Us Strong

Hudson takes center focus in this story involving flashbacks to auld Scotland as a veteran warrior, as he shows his mettle against a treacherous foe. Having felt the sting of failure, his determination gives drive to fight and survive despite the battle weariness of time.

Full of action, this backstory gives Hudson more depth and explains the scar on his left eye as well as his sagacity. Dramatic in both fighting and lightning, the intense struggle is both external as well as internal.

Even with all these elements, the story still marches forward, setting up an intriguing turn of events. Dark, heavy, with spots of levity, this series continues the course of being intense, unique, and soulful.

    • Quotes

Goliath: Thank you for keeping me alive, Hudson. There's no one else I'd rather have at my side.

Hudson: [slight chuckle] I'd forgotten that for a time.

      [slight scoff]

Hudson: I thought my warrior days were over.

Goliath: Nonsense! There are *years* of fighting left for you.

Hudson: Aye, now there's something to look forward to.

      [Both laugh and fly off]
