Ethan 'Bubblegum' Tate: I thought you knew that algebra was all razzamatazz. A Globetrotter always saves the good algebra for the final minutes.

Ethan 'Bubblegum' Tate: Pitiful basketball players of Earth, I am Ethan "Bubblegum" Tate, commander of the Harlem Globetrotters. For generations, your puny planet has lived in peace with the Globetrotter homeworld. But now, for no reason, we challenge you to defend your honor on the basketball court. Will no one meet our challenge? Have none of you pathetic eartlings game?

Ethan 'Bubblegum' Tate: Nothing. There is nothing at stake and no threat, beyond the shame of defeat.

[after Fry looses basketball game to invading Harlem Globetrotters]
Leela: I dont know how you did it, Fry, but once again you screwed up. Now every galaxy is gonna be cracking wise about our mamas.
[Hermes hangs his head in shame]
Hermes Conrad: I'm just glad my fat ugly mama is not alive to see this.
Professor Hubert Farnsworth: Enough about your promiscuous mother, Hermes.

[time skipped forward through Fry and Leela's wedding, then divorce, and Fry is wondering how he got Leela to marry him]
Hermes Conrad: Maybe you're just a first-class lover, Fry.
Amy Wong: [quietly, to herself] No...

Ethan 'Bubblegum' Tate: You dare laugh at the jesters of dunk? We came here to terrify and humilliate you, not tickle your funny bones. Watch, as I humilliate your civilization by passing the ball to Curly Joe... only to have it stay in my hand with elastic!

Professor Hubert Farnsworth: What do you know of this?
Ethan 'Bubblegum' Tate: Not much yet, but I am a senior lecturer of physics at Globetrotter U, and I'd like to help you investigate.

[time skips; Hermes is playing steel drums while the others are on a conga line naked]
Hermes Conrad: I don't know how this was supposed to work.
