- Debra helps out at Frank's lodge.
- Frank's Lodge is losing members and is only open 4 days a week much to Marie's dismay! Frank is driving Marie crazy by being home so much. Debra was offering advice on "recruitment strategies" about how they could get more members to join and liven up the place! Since Debra used to work in PR (Public Relations), Frank and his lodge buddies offer Debra a job as co-ordinator and they offer to pay her to help get the Lodge back on its feet. Needless to say things go awry when Frank's "disgusting lodge buddies" (as Marie would put it) start making sexy comments about Debra's good looks behind her back to each other and in front of Frank. The wives of the lodge fellas also have complaints because their husbands would come home all peppy and expecting them to be as hot and good looking as Debra. You can pretty much guess where this all goes.—Annie in Ontario
- Debra accepts a position at Frank's Caribou lodge to help plan a member recruitment party. Due to recent loss of members, the lodge is short of money and is now open only 4 days a week. Hence Frank is spending more time at home which is bad for everyone. Frank is making life horrible for Marie, who spends more time at Ray's to escape Frank, and this makes life hell for Debra. Frank says that if things do not improve, the lodge might close down altogether. Frank would not consider inducting women into the club, as Amy suggested.
Debra was in PR and suggests holding some recruitment events (a wine tasting, a casino night and even a luau. For Frank she suggests a manly, football watching, meat eating party) and Frank offers to pay her to do the same. Ray doesn't want Debra to take up the assignment and says that she is needed around the house. But Marie is keen to solve the lodge problem to get rid of Frank and supports Debra.
Debra quickly becomes very popular with the lodge brothers. The old men all take pleasure in a little light flirting with Debra. They get her to drink beer and sing along with her around the piano. Ray complains to Debra, who says that the guys are simply attentive to what she has to say, and that Ray can learn a few things from them. Ray makes jokes about the old men at the lodge, but the next day he apologizes to Debra and says that it is great what she is doing to help out the lodge.
Ray is upset about all the time Debra is spending away from home-and surprisingly, so is Frank, who dislikes his friends' treatment of his daughter-in-law. Stan (Victor Raider-Wexler) buys her free drinks and Garvin (Len Lesser) just leers at her. Ray is angry as the old geysers are just using Debra as their daily entertainment.
Marie and the wives of the lodgers (Hilda (Bunny Levine), Mrs Pechi (Norma Michaels) & Mrs Lopman (Elsa Raven)) are also upset about it, since the lodgers are coming home to them all "preheated". They want their wives to dress up and they continually flirt with them. The wives feel that Debra is out of control and Marie wants Ray to tell Debra to not visit the lodge anymore. The wives say that they cannot compete with Debra as she is under 60. Marie says that Debra has a seductive air around men.
Frank arrives and dismisses the ladies by saying that their husbands are their problem and defends Debra by saying that she has nothing to do with it. But once they leave, even Frank says that Ray has to get Debra out of the lodge. Frank tells Ray about the commentary on Debra at the lodge whenever she leaves the room, about her ass, her ankles and her boobs and so on.
This forces Ray and Frank to tell Debra the truth. Ray gets to the lodge just as the guys had convinced Debra to dance on top of the piano. Ray yells at the old men for leering at Debra and making her an object of their ridicule. Frank says that Debra is like a daughter to him and he cannot stand her being treated like this by his friends. Debra finally realizes when the guys at the lodge admit that they have treated her like a floozy.
