Walk Like a Man (#9.4)

Weaver made me really laugh this episode. Both with her embarrassing mistake on television during which her face was hilarious as well as when she told Michael that she will overlook him hitting a doctor because it was Pratt.

There was actually more humor with Luka's story. Ah that lucky mother, yes even with the sick kid, doing Luka in a hospital room is a wonderful fantasy.

Michael's story was pretty great as well. This was his learning moment to stand by his diagnosis as him stepping back did cost one of them her life. Very well thought story and great acting by Sharif Atkins as well as the rest of them involved.

Also some relationship drama by Carter and Abby, I think I would not be as understanding if someone would out my alcoholism.

Not again Carter

Warning: Spoilers
Writers love having male characters play the victim and run away instead of talking things out.

Maybe Carter would have been a better character if he stopped crying and throwing tantrums.

Perhaps Pratt would be a less annoying character if he would just shut up and stop meddling in other people's lives.

ER in name only

Warning: Spoilers
Aside from an appearance by the bombshell, Katherine LaNasa this episode is blah from beginning to end. Carter tells Susan about Abby's drinking problem. Abby pouts...shocker. Gallant's frequent flyer codes in the hallway...thankfully this nowhere storyline is done. Weaver can't hang on to a charge nurse (wonder why) so she appoints Abby, via a memo. Pratt makes sure everyone knows he's black in every way possible, every chance he gets...it's old already, and yet somehow this supposed Benton replacement manages to hang on for the rest of the show. Chen remains awful. I'm finding myself not even watching half of the episodes anymore, instead I'm busying myself playing games or watching YouTube.

Romano again has the best moment in the show without even being on screen!
