Not too much is happening among the characters in this episode but we get to see a very eventful night shift of Dr. Pratt not going too well. Not surprising considering that there are pretty much no experienced nurses and also lots of medical students and even residents who don't know exactly what is happening.
The story with the guy who swallowed the coin didn't seem to be so horrible, until after the removal they come back and the guy pretty much pukes out blood on the glass window. Pretty terrifying unexpected moment.
The story about the grandma dying and the kid sleeping with her in the bed is also pretty sad.
