  The Doctor : They were. Now they've had all their humanity taken away. That's a living brain jammed inside a cybernetic body, with a heart of steel. All emotions removed.

  The Doctor : Because it hurts.

  Cyberman : You are rogue elements.

  The Doctor : But we surrender.

  Cyberman : You will be deleted.

  The Doctor : But we're surrendering! Listen to me, we surrender!

  Cyberman : You are inferior. Man will be reborn as cyberman, but you will perish under maximum deletion. Delete, delete, delete, DELETE!

• [after the TARDIS has crashlanded] 

  The Doctor : We fell out of the vortex, through the Void into nothingness. We're at some sort of no-place, a silent realm, a lost dimension...

  Mickey Smith : [looking outside]  Otherwise known as "London".

  Mickey Smith : Yep.

  The Doctor : Your city?

  Mickey Smith : That's the one.

  The Doctor : Just as we left it?

  Mickey Smith : Bang on.

  The Doctor : [looking up]  And that includes the zeppelins?

  [They all look up and see lots of zeppelins moving throughout the sky] 

  Rose Tyler : Those are beautiful.

  [looking around, we see zeppelins everywhere] 

  Mickey Smith : OK, so it's London with a big international zeppelin festival.

  The Doctor : This is not your world.

  Mickey Smith : But the date's the same.

• Rose Tyler : [hugs Ricky]  Oh my god, look at you! I thought I'd never see you again!

  Ricky Smith : Yeah, no offense but who the hell are you?

  Mickey Smith : Rose! That's not me. That's like, the other one.

  The Doctor : Oh, as if things weren't bad enough, there's two Mickeys!

• The Doctor : You're a very smart man. l'd call you genius except l'm the the room.

• Cyberman : You will be deleted

  The Doctor : But we surrender!

• Mickey Smith : Where was that? What happened?

  The Doctor : Oh, it was on this... er, planet thing. Asteroid. It's a long story. You had to be there.

  The Doctor : Into what?

  Cybermen Voices : The next stage of mankind. We are human point two.

• Cybermen Voices : We have been upgraded.

  Cybermen Voices : The next level of mankind. We are Human Point 2. Every citizen will receive a free upgrade. You will become like us.

  The President : I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for what's been done to you. But listen to me, this experiment ends tonight!

  Cybermen Voices : Upgrading is compulsory.

  The President : And if I refuse?

  The Doctor : Don't.

  The President : What if I refuse?

  The Doctor : I'm telling you, don't!

  The President : What happens if I refuse?

  Cybermen Voices : Then you are not compatible.

  The President : What happens then?

  Cybermen Voices : You will be deleted!

  [grabs the President by the neck, electrocuting him to death]
