    Call the plot police!!

    Someone needs to watch season 3 of MONK, Mr. Monk and the Game Show, whose main plot is lifted directly from this episode. And I thought MONK would've considered itself too hip and classy to steal.

      Among the questions Dr. Mark Sloan answers while on "Through the Roof," one references the musical "Bye Bye Birdie" and mentions always liking the show. Dick Van Dyke played the lead character Albert Peterson both on Broadway and in the 1963 movie.
    • Goofs
      One question asked during the first game sequence was: "when was the treaty signed that ended World War One?" Doctor Sloan and the contestant both answer November 11, 1918 and the host says the answer was correct. November 11, 1918 was when the armistice ending fighting was signed. The Treaty of Versailles, that officially ended the war was signed on June 28, 1919.
