Annie Potts has stated in "Designing Women" reunions that when people recognize her, one of the things that they say to her upon coming after her is "These things are power!", referring to the episode where Mary Jo gets the idea of having her breasts enlarged. When she wears a bra with implantments attached, it goes to her head and she begins to act quite a bit different.
