Mr. Wilson's sister Helen, a former schoolteacher, is visiting and she reads the classic novel Treasure Island to Dennis and his friends.
An amusing episode, good one for Mr. Wilson to get irritated. He can't spend much time with Helen since the boys take up most of her time. The boys become fascinated with buried treasure and Helen says there were real Spanish pirates in their area back in the 1800s. Mr. Wilson draws up a fake treasure map to distract the boys and get them to dig a hole he wanted to do anyway.
Alice gets the idea to put some costume jewelry in the hole so Dennis will believe he found treasure.
Funniest scene is when Mr. Wilson also believes it and uses a pickaxe and hits a water pipe.
