This series could never turn down a bird story. Miss Elkins is on hand to make a worthy foil. There's some melancholy with the series coming to an end. Not quite the final episode, but the end is near. No fear, the first season is about to air in syndication. Dennis and Tommy can help with the laughs. The mockingbird provides much of the fun. Not just parrots make for humor. As usual Gale Gordon shows comedic brilliance when he's on the camera. Eloise makes a good straight player. It's a wonder Mr. Wilson gets any sleep. Visitors keep the laughs coming with recording equipment too. Technology was needed to bring about comedy. Puns help, too.
