Mr. Quigley gets a good episode. It's a great episode for a time for sports fanatics like March. But this is baseball not basketball. And thankfully there is no brawling. Post Joseph Kearns, Quigley gets to take the place of Mr. Wilson. Celebrity cameos only go so far. Puns work well in this episode. Kind of like a Warner Brothers Cartoon or Three Stooges. It sure makes for winning comedy. Come to think of it did anyone in this cast get invited to the Stanley Kramer comedy epic. Maybe they were left out because they're TV legends. It didn't keep Don Knotts out of the movie. Oh well batter up and laugh often.
