  [puts her hand on Paige's shoulder, but Paige shrugs it off] 

  Hazel Aden : If you said no, that's rape.

  Paige Michalchuk : [crying]  No!

  [cries even harder while repeating the word "no."] 

• Hazel Aden : [to Paige as she's leaving school]  Hey, wait up! Paige! Whatever happened to going to the doctor after school?

  Paige Michalchuk : [angrily]  Why would I?

  Hazel Aden : I don't know. To check on STD's, pregnancy...

  Paige Michalchuk : He wore a condom. Safe sex all the way. I'm fine.

  Hazel Aden : What Dean did was illegal! You know that, right?

  Paige Michalchuk : [stops walking and turns around]  Yeah, and what about what I did?

  Hazel Aden : You didn't do anything.

  Paige Michalchuk : Yeah, so I didn't dress like a slut? I didn't drink? I didn't come on to him in front of the whole party?

  Paige Michalchuk : I guess I didn't ask him to go upstairs either.

  [turns and starts walking away again as Hazel follows her] 

  Hazel Aden : It does matter! Paige, you have to tell someone!

  Paige Michalchuk : No, I don't! I can deal with it.

  Paige Michalchuk : [turns around]  Look, my business, my problem. I'm fine!
