A return of the three insane sisters--yeah!
planktonrules12 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Helen Morgendorffer has two sisters with whom she has a very strained relationship. The first episode featuring this was one of the very best of the series and so I was thrilled to see them reunited again...and to watch the sparks fly.

The show begins with Helen receiving a couple phone calls. Apparently, her niece who was married in season two is now about to get a divorce--and Helen is being pulled into it. When the niece's mom (Helen's sister) arrives at the house, Jake proves he's a smart guy after all and he runs away--spending most of the show hiding! As for Daria, at first it's fun to watch the sparks fly but eventually it becomes too much--so she calls Helen's other sister--hoping the three can somehow sort things out and stop the fighting. While this doesn't work, it is pretty funny.

Overall, this is a clever episode--very, very funny and nearly as good as the first episode involving these three goof-ball sisters. Clever and very well-written.

Hannah, I mean Helen, and her sisters. Fashion Club crisis
safenoe2 November 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Stacy and Tiffany trigger a Fashion Club disaster, with both having the same dress - oh dear. It's okay for men to have the same suit and tie, but double standards exist for females I guess.

Helen and Rita meet in this episode, and argue so much. This leads to arguing between Daria and Quinn, but thankfully Helen's other sister, Amy, visits and attempts to keep the peace at all levels.

This is the 10th episode of season 5. It's also the fourth last episode of season 5. After season 5 there was a wrap-up movie, Is it College Yet? I wish Daria is rebooted. I'd love to hear Daria's musings on social media, the fall of MySpace and Vine, the rise of Facebook and Twitter, Trump, Edward Snowden and ISIS.

Problems between sisters (not Daria and Quinn)
Tweekums23 January 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Just as Helen announces that a big case has finished and she will have some time off she receives a call informing her that her niece is seeking a divorce and they want Helen to act as her attorney. Helen protests that she isn't a divorce lawyer but they insist. She caves in and waits for her niece to arrive but instead her sister Rita turns up telling her that her niece is relaxing in Switzerland! As the two sisters argue it has an affect on Daria and Quinn; Daria starts to wonder about her relationship with Tom and rather surprisingly Quinn worries that she and Daria will end up arguing for decades; Jake meanwhile has left the house until peace returns. In a secondary story the fashion club must confront the ultimate horror... two of them turn up to school wearing identical dresses!

This was a decent episode; as is often the case the best laughs came from Jake; first with his new interest in Civil War cooking and then his hiding while Rita was staying. Helen and Rita's arguments provided a few laughs although its conclusion was a bit cloying. The fashion club's sub-story was pretty funny; it was hilarious seeing Tiffany being even more stupid than usual, to a degree I didn't think possible! Away from the laughter it was nice to see Quinn continuing to care about her sister in a way she didn't earlier in the series.
