Janice and Gareth are woken up by a noise in the kitchens, it turns out to be Everton, working on his very own Signature dish, a Partridge terrine.
Great fun, and great to see the rise of Everton, it's nice to see how hard work finally pay off, and get some recognition. There are some very funny lines, and some great scenes, but best of all we see Gareth put in his place.
A young Mark Williams is good as the copper, just before his successes with The Fast Show and Father Brown.
I've just noticed, the Maitre d from the first series has gone, it's a shame she was good.
Very much enjoyed. 9/10
