Prue Meets The Angel of Death
claudio_carvalho23 April 2007
While on the beach with Phoebe, Prue sees an unknown woman taking pictures of her with a shadow next to the woman. Meanwhile, Cole is chased by two Seekers, vampire-demons that suck the knowledge of humans. The evil demons suck the former landlady of Cole, and then Andrea, the woman that took the picture and rookie assistant of Inspector Reece Davidson. Prue casts a spell to summon the Death, and the Angel of Death shows her the bigger picture, proving that death is not evil and only comes when the time has come. Prue accepts and finally grieves the death of her mother. Meanwhile the Halliwell sisters face and cast a spell to vanquish the Seekers.

In this excellent episode, Prue learns about the neutrality of the Reeper: the Angel of Death is not an evil being since it only arrives when the time of the victim has come. The evil Seekers are great, but not enough to face the Power of Three. My vote is ten.

Warning: Spoilers
The Angel of death appears to Prue as she tries to save her innocent from two demons. I find it haunting when Prue summons him, he tells her that her time will Cole soon and her name was in his list projecting All hell breaks loose. It seems to take place before just harried as she mourns her mother's death anniversary and still has issues with death even though she was visited by Patty last episode. Cole finally got his due here by becoming an innocent himself, which hold high favor with Prue, and even accepts not everyone can be saved like a certain doctor Griffiths. Phoebe finally accepts he has changed and their relationship officially begins right. The Angel of death seems very creepy adding suspense and drama for his first role.

The seekers are unique bounty hunters, who I enjoy better then the vampire ep in season four, and find them more psychologically disturbing. The humor was great as a gift from the elders is a lamp or painting she thinks is tacky and Leo saying he isn't a cosmic taxi is a breath of fresh air compared to later season where orbing's abused.

A nice commentary on grieving and moving on. Yet I hopes for a flashback or the other sisters given a chance to express how they feel about it.
