The Secret Lives of Sarah and Catherine, etc.
Hitchcoc26 January 2021
This episode begins with a very wealthy man and his wife, killed execution style and left in their driveway. It turns out the guy made a fortune in the porn industry. This brings Grissom and the gang to look into a whole flock of peripheral characters. It's sort of a train of consciousness episode, one clue leading to another, then another. There are two teases as well. Catherine hasn't had much luck romantically in some time and Sarah is trying to cover something up. On to the next episode.

Complex Case
claudio_carvalho3 January 2023
Although living in a well-protected gated community, the couple Mike and Laurel Trent are executed in front of their house by two masked killers. They were owners of the famous Acid Drop club among other properties. Grissom notes that Laurel was dragged out of the car, but Mike was dragged down the driveway in a place where everyone could see him. The whole team is assigned to investigate the case since the real state is large. Soon they find that the jewels have been robbed and Laurel had made porn films in the past with the production of Drake the Snake. Catherine goes to the Acid Drop and interviews the manager Chris Bezich first and Drake, who is bartender, later. Their further investigation shows that Mike's former partner Kyle Goode is suing him in the justice. When Grissom is summed to a murder case in an apartment, he finds evidences that will help him to resolve the case.

"Early Rollout" is an episode of "CSI" with only one, but complex case that involves the whole team. There are many suspects that are cleared one by one, and the case is resolved based on the greedy of the killers. Catherine has a love moment with the manager Chris Bezich. My vote is eight.

Very decent crime drama.

Warning: Spoilers
Decent CSI episode Would rather watch this than any NCIS/CSI Miami/NY etcetc. But not a classic

Good points are the imagination the CSIs need to recreate why things happened the way they did. An example is that by imagining the killers dragging a body out behind a shed, and putting it together with another thing they've spotted, they figure out what the killers were doing and why.

Other points, Grissom says "I got a dead guy" at one stage, as if he's been given candy. Some hilarious flirting occurs between Catherine and a pants-on-fire (in several senses) club owner. The writers have previously notified you of what's coming when Catherine has a work- appraisal with Grissom and complains that she hasn't had intercourse "for 6.. no 7 months!!"

Grissom takes his glasses off, nonplussed, and replies "Catherine...How can I help you?"

My usual disclaimer: I've watched these episodes 4 or 5 times, so this isn't a first impression.
