In the days of old when producers weren't so bold, and cliffhangers weren't invented shows ended their seasons with clip shows edited together with no real reason leaving viewers discontented. This episode lives up to its title, with Grossman putting together an audio tribute to Ponch and John by gathering stories as told by the other troopers in their division as they happened by showing clips from the first two seasons of the show. Keep in mind this was a somewhat common practice before the days of home video and season ending cliffhangers as was introduced in the early 1980's by the concept of, Who Shot JR in 1980 on Dallas(1978)
