  [Angelus stabs at Buffy with his sword and Buffy catches it between her palms] 

  Buffy Summers : Me.

• Angelus : [to Giles]  I wanna torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured somebody, they didn't even *have* chainsaws.

• [Angelus has just turned back into Angel] 

  Angel : Angel?

  [demon starts awakening] 

  Angel : What's happening?

  Buffy Summers : Shh. Don't worry about it.

  [kisses him again then runs him through with the sword and into the demon] 

  Angel : Buffy...?

• [mopping Giles' brow with a damp cloth, who's very weak from Angelus' torture] 

  Drusilla : Is that better...? Hm...? Poor thing... Let's see what's inside... Of course... Look at me... Be... in me... Mmm... See with your heart.

  [Giles sees Jenny but it is really Drusilla] 

  Rupert Giles : Jenny... I thought I'd lost you.

  Jenny Calendar : Shh... I'll never leave you.

  Rupert Giles : We have to get out of here.

  Jenny Calendar : No, no, no, no, no. Slowly.

  Rupert Giles : It can't be you.

  Jenny Calendar : Did you tell Angel...? About the ritual?

  Rupert Giles : No... We have to get him... away from Acathla.

  Jenny Calendar : Why? Is he close to figuring it out?

  Rupert Giles : Later.

  Jenny Calendar : Tell me what to do... It's alright... We'll be together... Finally. We'll have everything we never got to have... Never got to feel... Just tell me what to do.

  Rupert Giles : We have to get Angel away from Acathla.

  Angelus : Okay, kill him.

  Spike : Yeah, but what if he's lying?

  Angelus : Yeah. Good point. All right, don't kill him. You know, I kinda like having you watch my back. Kinda like old times.

  [Drusilla and Giles are still kissing] 

  Spike : Er, Drusilla?

  Angelus : [to Drusilla]  Honey.

  Spike : We are finished here, ducks.

  [Drusilla looks at Angelus and Spike] 

  Drusilla : Sorry. I was in the moment.

• Angelus : My boy, Acathla here, is about to wake up. You're going to hell.

  Buffy Summers : Save me a seat.

• Angelus : [to Giles]  Oh, yeah... Acathla. He's an even harder guy to wake up then you are. I mean I've performed the ritual, said all the right phrases, blood on my hand. Got nothing, big doughnut hole for my troubles. I figure you know the ritual. You're pretty up on these things. You could probably tell me what I'm doing wrong. But honestly, I sort of hope you don't... Because I *really* wanna torture you.
